Novelty Piano Music Is Popular

ISTENERS’ interest in ‘"‘ Keyboard Korner," broadcast from 3ZB every Friday at 3 p.m., goes to show that there is a large and appreciative audience for the novelty pianists. Since introducing the session as a regular feature, the station has received so many requests for special numbers that it appears to have automatically become a piano request programme. Although it is possible to play only a small percentage of the requests received, a wide variety of items has resulted from the suggestions sent in for the session by 3ZB’s listeners.
