While on a hunting trip, he is Stabbed in the back by Hagen, who covets the "Ring." On the return of the funeral party, Brunnhilde causes a funeral pyre to be built. Siegfried’s body is placed on it, and Brunnhilde sets it alight and then rides into the flames and perishes. The "Ring" is returned to the Rhinemaidens, Hagen is drowned, and Valhalla perishes in the flames of Siegfried’s funeral pyre. This presentation features Florence Austral as Brunnhilde" and Walter Widdop as " Siegfried."
