NURSES FOR OVERSEAS

IsS L. G. WILLIS, Matron-in- \ /\ Chief of the New Zealand Army Nursing Service; has issued her first list of nurses selected to gO overseas to serve in a base hospital and convalescent hospital. In announcing that a fully-equipped base hospital would be sent overseas, the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, paid a tribute to the ready résponse of nurses for Service overseas. He stated that several hundreds had volunteered, with the result that the authorities had beén able to select nurses with high qualifications and splendid hoépital récords who woiild maintain the high reputation established by New Zéaland nurses in 1914-18. Grey silk or lisle stockings; black shoes. 6s§ Dréss is worn with or without a Scdtlet cloth shoulder cape. Gréy tailored costume.
