Daventry programmes are still subject to alteration without notice, other than by announcements preceding transmission. The usual broadcast hours for Transmission 1 are 6 p.m. to 8.15 p.m., New Zealand Standard Time. After Sunday, September 24, allowance must be made for the half-hour of New Zealand summer time. The BBC New Zealand Observer announces that the current timing j of Transmission 1 is from 5.27 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., New Zealand Standard Time. This, however, is subject to alteration. The following wavelengths are also liable to alteration: GSB, 31.55 metres; GSD, 25.53 metres; GSI, 19.66 metres. The frequencies are: GSB, 9,510 ke/s.; GSD, 11,750 kc/s.; GSI, 15,260 kc/s. Listeners should also take note of NBS and NCBS announcements about rebroadcasts from Daventry. These are frequent.
