T is a pity that radio fairies can only be heard, not seen, for one little boy recently spent a lot of time looking for a fairy under the chairs and couches in 2YA’s studio. However, he has quite decided that the fairy’s home is inside the piano, which is just the place in which you would expect to find a music-loving sprite. Children’s Choir Next Monday, August 21, 2YA is to have a visit from the Hastings Children’s Choir. Madame Mercer conducts these young people, and you will hear them in the Children’s Hour singing several songs, including Bach’s "Peasant Cantata." We hope they will enjoy their Wellington visit. Young Actors 1ZB’s Junior Radio Players with Ronda are busy rehearsing a 20-minute play which will be broadcast in the Children’s Magazine on Friday, September 1. Ronda’s young artists are making a name for themselves in radio, and their last performance, "School is In," would have been a credit to older and more experienced players. Their play for September 1 is called " Merry and Bright," and has been written and adapted for radio by Ronda. Many of the members of the Dramatic Club also belong to the Radio Forum, conducted by Ronda, and broadcast each Tuesday evening. If you have not yet tuned in to hear boys and girls giving their ideas on different subjects, you’re missing something very interesting.
