Hollywood has also had a shot at it, with Laure) and Hardy in the leading roles, The story deals with the exploits of a famous bandit, which gives the opera its name, and the comic element is largely in the hands of a travelling English nobleman and his lady. The Overture by itself can make clear to listeners how much they lose in not being able to hear the whole work, and, indeed, many others of the school to which’ it belongs. 8.10 Alison Cordery (soprano), "To Music" ....... Health News Part of the world-wide radio reception service organised by the Post and Telegraph Department through Auckland, Wellington and Awarua, covers a weekly broadcast from the League of Nations Radio at Geneva. General activities of the League are recounted, but the service is most directly beneficial to the Department of Health, Health news from the rest of the world is broadcast. Reports of infectious diseases from countries in contact with New Zealand make precautions more effective than would otherwise be possible.
