Gladys Moncrieff has never been to the Antarctic, but she does not let blocked roads and blizzard weather stop her when she makes up her mind. During the severe conditions in Dimedin last week she was so determined to keep her engagement to sing from 4YA that she walked a mile through heavy snow, although still handicapped by her accident, finished her journey to the studio in a Ford truck — and sang as well as ever.
