Summary for the Week:
Mountaineering in a very fine district will be described by R. Ferris, from 4YZ, Invercargill, at 8 p.m, on July 2. The "Sports Club" sessions will be heard as usual from 2YD, Wellington, on Monday, at 8 p.m., and from 3ZR, Greymouth, on Thursday, at 8.38 p.m. During Gordon Hutter’s session from 1Y A, on July 7, listeners will hear Mark Nicholls. Wrestling will be heard from 1YA and 2YA on Monday, July 3, at 9.5 p.m. Saturday afternoon Rugby commentaries will be broadcast from the main stations and from Greymouth on July 8, except that 2YA will be covering the third day of the racing at Trentham, and Wellington Rugby will be broadcast by 2YC. The series of talks, "Is Rugby Deteriorating?" will be continued at 2YD on Wednesday by George Aitken; at 1YA on Friday by Mark Nicholls (his fifth talk), and at. 3YA on Monday Mark Nicholls will give his second talk. Trampers should listen in to 1YA, 2YA, or 3YA, on Monday afternoon to hear.a talk prepared by the Home Science Tutorial Section of the Association for Country Education.
