New Zealand Singer
Did you know that Jean Macfarlane, at present delighting New Zealand listeners with her. fine contralto voice, has been studying only two and a-half years? Although she is Scottish by birth, she is a New Zealander by adoption, so that the Dominion may take credit for a singer whose voice has brought her fame. Miss Macfarlane will be heard from 3YA on Monday, July 3, and 1YA on Saturday, July 8.
