GIFTS for READERS

10/- for Securing Five New Subscribers TF you were told that you could have your choice of any article or assortment of articles advertised in The Ladies’ Mirror up to the value of 10/- free of cost, what would you choose? Now. what should it be—a pair of silk stockings, a box of confectionery, a new novel or some tablets of soap. There arc many other things you could select from, and all you have to do to get these things is to ask your friends to become subscribers to The Ladies’ Mirror. For every five subscribers you get we will send you, post paid, any article or articles up to the value of 10/that you see advertised in this issue. Get your friends to join —your own subscription will count as one if you are not already a subscriber—then send a list of their full names and addresses, together with 12/- for each annual subscription (£3 for the five), and state what you would like as your free gift to the value of 10/-. Note that you must select something that is advertised in The Ladies' Mirror. If the cost of the article desired is greater than 10/-, the difference should be enclosed with your letter.

The 10/- gift will be given for each five subscriptions sent in, that is, 20/for ten subscriptions, and so on. Send all you can, and get a splendid gift for nothing— in time for Xmas. Gifts will be mailed within a few days after receipt of subscriptions. Address “Subscription Manager,” The Ladies’ Mirror, 43 City Chambers, Queen Street. Auckland.
