A FREETHOUGHT ASSOCIATION FOR WAVERLEY.
We are indebted to a Freethinker at Waverley for the following items :—• Waverley, March 26th, 1884, Sm,—Knowing that you take an interest in the spread of Freethought principles, I take the liberty of informing you that active steps are being taken for the formation of a Freethought Association here. Sunday last was chosen for the first meeting, but as the day proved very wet none but the town residents turned out. consequently the meeting was adjourned until Sunday next, when we anticipate a large attendance. — l am, &c., Freethinker,
