Tararua Forest and Bird chair Pat Menzies receives a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the branch from a former branch chairman Russell Burn. Pat Menzies has been chairman for 10 years and was previously chairman in the 1970s. During this time Tararua branch has taken on the management of a small covenant under the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust, and restoration in a council reserve.
