Forest and Bird's new national executive was confirmed at the annual council meeting in Wellington, without an election being necessary. Nominations equalled the vacancies. The only new face is lan White who becomes National Treasurer. Basil Graeme from Tauranga stood down. Craig Potton relinquished his role as Deputy National President and Dr Peter Maddison is the new Deputy President. Members of the executive are, standing from left: Helen Campbell (Nelson), Keith Beautrais (Wanganui), Philip Hart (Waikato), lan White (National Treasurer), Dr Peter Maddison (Deputy National President, Waitakere), Emeritus Professor Alan Mark (Otago); in front, Anne Fenn (Central Auckland) and Dr Gerry McSweeney (National President, North Canterbury).
