Valder Conservation Grants Offered
rants of up to $10,000 are available from Waikato Forest ~. J and Bird, for conservation projects to be undertaken in the coming year. The grants could help fund research, practical projects, or advocacy for conservation. There is no specific restriction on the type of project, but criteria relate primarily to relevance to local and national Forest and Bird objectives. Simply send four copies of your proposal,together with a budget, to Phyllis Anscombe (secretary), Waikato Forest and Bird, P.O. Box 11-092, Hillcrest, Hamilton by September 30, 2002.
