Name for Kakapo Chick
(ones to Ingrid Hutzler of Nelson for winning the Forest and Bird kakapo chick naming competition. Ingrid submitted ‘Vollie’ — in recognition of all the hours of effort put in by volunteers working with the kakapo recovery programme on Codfish Island/Whenua Hou. Without their help this project would not have been as successful. Ingrid received a book about Hoki the kakapo, a framed print of her chick, and _ free Forest and Bird membership for a year.
