Working together we can make a difference Forest and Bird, New Zealand's largest environmental organisation, is involved in a wide range of conservation work We are a registered charity which works to preserve and protect the indigenous flora and fauna and natural features of New Zealand for the benefit of the public including future generations. Current Forest and Bird membership is 40,000, and the Kiwi Conservation Club, for young people, has an additional membership of 6 0o0.
