The pictures were taken by Warren Farrelly whose school geography classes are proposing a series of marine reserves in the harbour (see page 26). Above, a crested blenny peers out of a convenient hole in a sponge. The blenny is named for the tufts above its eyes. At right, a red crab photographed while hunting at night. Anemones in the foreground have closed up, withdrawing their tentacles.
