Part of the exquisitely sculpted creekbed of Waggon Creek in the area excluded from Paparoa National Park. Milburn opposes any suggestion that Waggon Creek be added to the park and clearly still has a major interest in its extensive deposits of very high-grade limestone. However, Waggon Creek is part of a gazetted ecological area which means that the consent of the Minister of Conservation would be required before any mining licence could be issued.
