Tracks

come. TERRY FITZGIBBON

his edition of Tracks features birds which most of us see regularly seagulls. Worldwide there are 45 species of gull, living everywhere from the polar ice caps to the Equator. In New Zealand we have just three species, and their story is unfolded below. The winner of the "Link the caterpillar to the butterfly"

competition is Vaughan Magnusson of Manurewa. Thank you to the 60 entrants who took part and a special thanks to those teachers who copied the competition for a class project -- we promise more to come. =
