Lepperton Bush in North Taranaki Needs Our Help

North Taranaki Branch are aiming to raise $12,000 to secure a 4.2 ha. bush area behind the Lepperton railway station. Although small, this bush is a remnant of the magnificent coastal forésts that once covered the dairy farmland of the Taranaki ring plain. The bush includes pukatea, maire, kohekohe, kahikatea and tawa. If the fundraising is successful it will become our first Society reserve in Taranaki. Send donations to RF & BPS Taranaki Bush Appeal, Box 631, Wellington. Donations over $5.00 are tax deductible and will be receipted.
