Conservation of our Forests and Birds
Iff VERY New Zealand citizen is urged to look *— 4 deeply into the matter of efficiently preserving our indigenous Forests and Birds. It will he found that the necessity is immediate and essential to our Very prosperity, nay, even to our very existence as a people. Already the effects of their destruction is apparent to the observant, in the changing climate, decreasing fertility, erosion, &c., &c.
The remaining portion of our forests is sorely menaced. No one who has any interest whatever in this country, can afford to stand idly by. They are yours and your business.
