“THINK, GEORGE —ANOTHER MINUTE AND WE SHALL BE FREE”
This cartoon, appearing in a prisoner-of-war magazine, the Spectator in Germany, was drawn by a New Zealander, Company Sergeant-Major J. K. Welch. One returned prisoner in a recent exchange batch stated that at one camp 70 tunnels were dug in a few months.
