A new use for old warships has been found. The Admiralty is placing them at the disposal of the Ministry of Agriculture for the purpose of fighting the dreaded foot and mouth aisease which causes such havoc among cattle. The warships to be eonverted into floating laboratories, fltted with cvery inodern appliance and apparatus for investigating the disease and carrying out experiments to combat it. ;
