' We once asked a land girl so neatly arrayed In brown boots and leggings, with soft hat and smock But the answer she made fairly gave us a shoek : "I'm about," said the damsel (a pail in her hand,) 1 "To proceed to the structure where quadrupeds stand, Of the species called _ 'bovine,' from whom with much tact, The fresh lactic liquid I daily extract."
