The United States to-day is producing about 70 per cent. of the world's supply of petroleum. About 16 per cent. ia coming from Mexico, and ahout half of this Mexico supply is being produced by American capital. The other 14 per cent. is coming from Central an>d South America, Russia, Roumania, Galicia, and other spota of tlie world.
