Auctloneers and Fruit Salesmen, Dee street, Invercargill, report as follows : — PRODUCE.— Potaloes (table) : The market is over-stocked, prices for prime quality, 5s 6d cwt ; other quality from 4s to 6s 6d bag. Potatoes (seed) : There is a fair, dernand for hand-picked guaranteed. Onions (Victorian), to 35s cwt. Oats 15s to 22s 6d. Chaff, 5s 6d to 6s 6d per bag. Straw Shaff, 3s 6d to 4s per bag. Baled Straw, arriving. Meggitt's Calf Food, 27s 6d per bag. Oatdust, 63 bag. Bran, 11s 6d bag. Pollard, 13s bag. Farro Food, 12s bag. Molasses 21s cwt., 12s 6d per tin. Mutton Birds, ls Id per bird. FRUIT — Large quantities received. Apples (dessert), choice quality 10s to 12» 6d per case ; other quality from 7s 6d to 9s per case according to vaxiety. Cooking apples, prime quality from 7s 6d to 9s per case; other quality from 6s to 7s case. Pears (dessert), to 16s 6d per case ; cooking to 3£d per lb.
