WAR TROPHIES.
In adition to asking the loyal co-opera-tion of all soldiers for transport publications for the public library, we are anxious to receive on ker.alf o"f the Southland Vvar Museutn a cellection of trophies. It is very important that nothing be lost that will be in any way a war trophy. Southland soldiers have playcd an important part in the war and we niust preserve, for the b.er.ofit of those who follow, something of a tdngible character. Every part of the Dominion is seeking a collection of trophies and we must not be behind. Numbers oi* artieles which have been brought from the battle iront • are being. lost sight of, and we would be glad to receive anything at aib Name and address must be sent, also fuil particulars of article, where found, stunt, ctc., Artieles can also be displayed in ihe museum and remain tlie propeHy of the sender, but can we, as representing Southland soldiers, make a direet gift to the people. Trophies can be sent to "The Digger" office direct, hox 310, Invercar- . gill ; or to Mr Crosby Sinith, Atheneaum | Buildings, Dee street, Invercargill.
