Mr B. W, Hewat, of Invercargill, solicitor, has fceen advised that fa© has ivitained the final section of the Bachelor of Laws degree. The engagement is announced of Lieut. C. W. Newton a-nd Miss J. Basstian. Mr Newton has been in the North Island for the past six months, and we are pleased to see his cheery face in Invercargill once again.
