MARKET NOTES.

Messrs Brajr Bros. Ltd., A uctioneen, Dee street, Invercargill, report as follows; PRODUCE. — We have reccived largi ccnsignments of potatoes and prices raiigi from £8 to £9 per ton, according to quaiity. There is a good demand for onioni at 13s per cwt. Chaff of primc q«a% is not too plentiful and price variesfmn £7 5s to £8 per ton. Oats (for WA feed), 5s 6d a bushel. Meggitt's Linseei Meal, 25s per bag. Oatdust, 5s per bag. Sorrel, 6s per bag. Bran 10s 61 per bag, Wheat Pollard, 12s 6d per 1001b bag. Barley Pollard, 22s 6d per 2001b bag. Pressed Hay, 5s per bale. Supplies oi Oaten Straw are arriving. We are requiring consignments of chaff and fowl wheat.

FRUIT. — Supplies have been heaq, and prices have eased. Grapes, outdooi grown, ls to lfi 3d per 1b. Peaches, 2jd to 5-i, d per 1b, according to variety and grade. Plums 3^d to 4d. Pears, 2d to 3d, Apples (dessert), 2|d to 3Ad per Jt, Apples (cooking), 2d to 2|d per 1b. Qninces, 2d to 3d per 1b. Tomatoes.— Ke qrality now arriving is very poor, and prices show considerable variation. Dessert sold at up to 4J,d per lb., an dsecmdary quality and green, down to 2dpeik GENERAL. — Lepp Salt Lick, conWming free sulphur, 2s 3d per briek.
