Votes, No. 37, Saturday, June 14, 1856. 12. Marriage Act, 1854 Mr Ward, pursuant to (amended) notice, moved, That a Select Committee be appointed to consider the Marriage Aet of 1854, and the amendments necessary thereto; the Committee to consist of Messrs. Fox, Hall, Domett, Brittin, Carleton, Lee, and the mover. Report to be brought up on Thursday next. Question put and passed.

Votes, No. 41, Thuesday, June 19, 1856. 7. Postponements:— The report of the Select Committee on the Marriage Act was postponed, on motion of Mr. Ward, until Thursday next.

Votes, No. 47, Thuesday, June 26, 1856. 9. Marriage Act Mr. "Ward, Chairman of the Committee on the Marriage Act of 1854, brought up their report, which was read and ordered to be printed.
