Votes, No. 19, Friday, May 16, 1856. 8. Bank Charters :—Mr. Macandrew moved the suspension of Standing Orders Nos. 56 and 97. Question put and passed. Mr. Macandrew then moved, That the Bank Charters and Private Paper Money Bills he referred to a Select Committee, with power to call for papers and persons; Report to be brought up on Thursday next; Committee to consist of Hr. Richmond, Mr. Stafford, Mr, Sewell, Mr. Pitzherbert, Mr. Pox, Mr. Cargill, Mr. Hall, Mr. Daldy, Mr. Carleton, Mr. Ludlam, Mr. Henderson, and the mover. Question put and passed. Yotes, NO. 23, TmjEf»AY, MAY 22, 1856. 10, Bank Charters:—Mr. Macandrcw, Chaiiman of the Committee on the Bank Charters and Private Paper Honey Bills, brought up the Report of the Committee, which was read and ordered to be printed.
