On the Speaker resuming the Chair the Chairman reported the Bill without amendment. On motion of Mr. Sewell, Bill read a third time and passed. Mr. Merriman and Mr. Hart were deputed to present the Bill to the Legislative Council. Mr. Carleton moved, seconded by Mr. Merriman, that the Pre-emption Land Claims Bill he now read a second time. (Carried.—Bill read a second time. On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald the consideration of the Revenues Bill in Committee ordered to stand as first order of the day for Monday next. House adjourned at J past 11 o'clock until noon on Monday next. Charles Clifford, Speaker.
