No. 71/1949 —Petition of G. Boyd Praying for the enforcement of a Court order. 1 have the honour to report that the Committee has carefully considered the petition, and recommends that it be referred to the Government for most favourable consideration. It is the opinion of the Committee that this matter should be referred to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council and the Department of Lands and Survey to collaborate with the County Council as to the action to be taken to give effect to the order of the Supreme Court. 14th September, 1950. Luttrell Praying for compensation for delay in refunding to him in accordance with a Court decision income-tax incorrectly charged and also for legal expenses incurred in contesting the Court actions and taxation claims. I have the honour to report that the Committee has carefully considered the petition, and recommends that it be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 19th October, 1950. No. 4—Petition of Alice M. Green Praying for legislation to exempt portion of a deceased person's estate from payment of certain duties, or other relief.
