{a) £36 982 provided in main estimates for buildings. Purchase of premises for permanent studios. \b) £51,000 provided in main estimates. Additional receipts from increased charges for advertising involves increased payments to agencies. ( c ) Annual contribution for associate membership secures information relevant to broadcasting throughout the world not otherwise available. Membership of a former similar organization was withdrawn in 1940 owing to the situation in Europe. (d) £26,600 provided in main estimates. During the current year a series of price increases tor newsprint has arisen.
