Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives Thursday, the Bth Day of July, 1948 Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of nine members, to consider all matters relating to pnblic health, infectious diseases, contagious diseases, hospitals, and to local authorities having charge of these matters, and to other matters affecting public health which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Aderman, Mr. Anderton, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Herron, Mr. Kent, Mr. Marshall, Mrs. Ross, Mr. T. E. Skinner, and the Mover."—(Hon. Miss Howard.) Friday, the 23rd Day of July, 1948 Ordered, " That the Tuberculosis Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee." —(Hon. Miss Howard.)

Tuberculosis Bill I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee has carefully considered the Tuberculosis Bill, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed with the amendments shown in the copy of the Bill hereto attached. 20th August, 1948.
