Arrangements have been made with the Polynesian Society for the publication of the third part of Sir Apirana Ngata's " Nga Moteatea," a collection of Maori traditional songs which will prove to be an extremely valuable contribution to Maori literature. The Board's annual grant to the Polynesian Society was increased to £450 this year to assist with the cost of publishing this book.
