ORDERS OP REFERENCE Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives Tuesday, the Bth Day oe July, 1947 Ordered, " That the Food and Drugs Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee."—(Hon. Miss Howard.) Wednesday, the 16th Day oe July, 1947 Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of nine members, to consider all matters relating to public health, infectious diseases, contagious diseases, hospitals, and to local authorities having charge of these matters, and to other matters affecting public health which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Aderman, Mr. Anderton, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Herron, Mr. Marshall, Mr. Paikea, Mrs. Ross, Mr. T. E. Skinner, and the Mover."—(Hon. Miss Howard.) Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1946 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session."—(Right Hon. Mr. Fraser.) Friday, the 25th Day oe July, 1947 Ordered, " That the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Amendment Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee." —(Hon. Miss Howard.) Friday, the 12th Day oe September, 1947 Ordered, " That the petition of W. Adams and 205 others (being residents of the Borough of Takapuna), for the removal of the North Shore refuse-destructor from its present site, be referred to the Public Health Committee." —(Mr. Moohan.) Tuesday, the 18th Day oe November, 1947 Ordered, " That the Health Amendment Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee."— (Hon. Mr. Nordmeyer, for the Hon. Miss Howard.)
