Extending the Period ivithin which the Commission of Inquiry shall report C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General To all to whom these presents shall come, and to the Eight Honourable Sir Michael Myers, G.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand ; and the Honourable Mr. Robert Kennedy, a Judge of the Supreme Court; and the Honourable Mr. Harold Featherston Johnston, a Judge of the Supreme Court: Greeting. Whereas by Warrant issued on the eighteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, under the hand of the GovernorGeneral and the Public Seal of the Dominion, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, you, the said Sir Michael Myers, Robert Kennedy, and Harold Featherston Johnston, were appointed under the authority of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1908, to be a Commission of Inquiry to inquire into and report whether certain moneys could be debited to the Dairy Industry Stabilization Account: And whereas by the said Warrant you were required to report not later than the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred -and forty-six, your findings and opinions on the question referred to you : And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting should be extended as hereinafter provided : Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1908, and all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby extend until the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, the time within which you are so required to report: And, in further exercise of the said powers and authorities and with the like advice and consent of the Executive Council, I do hereby confirm the said Warrant hereinbefore referred to and the Commission thereby constituted except as modified by these presents. Given in Executive Council under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 27th day of March, 1946. W. 0.
