(3) Industrial Committees I recommend that the Government investigates the possibilities of these standing Committees, and that representatives of the industries concerned be asked to submit their views on the question of New Zealand's representation on such of them whose jurisdiction affects problems of our economy. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS In concluding this report I desire to thank the workers' organizations who selected me to represent them at the International Labour Organization. I also desire to acknowledge the assistance rendered to me by yourself as Acting Minister of Labour and staff of the Department of Labour; the officers and staff in charge of the various State Departments who supplied me with information and advice; the advice and assistance received from the New Zealand, Minister at Washington (Sir C. Berendsen), the High Commissioner for New Zealand at Ottawa (Hon. D. Wilson), the Acting High Commissioner for New Zealand at London (Dr. R. H.
