(a) Provision for recently acquired colliery in Reefton district. (b) Purchase-price of colliery acquired in October, 1944. (c) £2,000 provided on main estimates. Additional provision required for new main access drive. (d) £7,000 provided on main estimates. Additional provision required for partial mechanization of colliery. (e) £5OO provided on main estimates. Expenditure on repairs to roof greater than anticipated. (/) Provision for option to purchase and to enable investigation of possibilities of mine as an opencast. (g) Amount required for purchase of houses erected at Dobson and Wallsend Collieries to alleviate acute housing shortage. (h) Oar required for two new collieries in Keefton district. (i) Hydraulic stowage, if practicable, will enable full extraction and reduce fire hazard. Australian experts will advise on suitability before commitments are made.
