(b) Provision required to enable grants to be made to community centres where present staffing set-up does not entitle them to incidentals. (e) Provision for lump-sum grant to establish a Eesearch Fund to be administered by the University of New Zealand. (d) To provide for increase in salaries, appointment of additional staff, appointment of academic heads, and to cover library and administrative expenses and refresher leave. £229,000 provided on main estimates.
