Table showing Expenditure of Electric-power Boards from 1924-25 to 1943-44

The following tabic shows the capital expenditure of Electric-power Boards, and this shows reverse tendency to the previous table regarding working expenditure, in that capital expenditure was very high in the earlier years and of recent years has tended to fall, although in the last two or three years there has been some tendency to rise, which is accounted for largely by increased costs :—
