SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES, 1941-42.

STATE FORESTS ACCOUNT.

(a) The deceased officer was due to retire on superannuation in January, 1942, and an ex gratia payment in lieu of the usual retiring leave of three months on full pay is to be made to the deceased officer's widow. (b) Provision for payment of grants to officers and others who submit useful suggestions or inventions, with the object of stimulating the submission of suggestions and inventions which will improve the efficient operation of the Service.
