Location of Deaths under Anæsthetic.

The table showing deaths according to age-groups was not given in previous returns. A definite number occurred in children during operations for tonsillectomy, correction of deformities, treatment of fractures, and other simple conditions. In the absence of fuller information it is impossible to give a complete analysis of the figures. It may be stated, however, that few of the deaths occurred during induction.
