The Audit Office having examined the Balance-sheet and accompanying accounts required by law to be audited hereby certifies them to be correct subject to the following Comments : (1) Payments amounting to £49 14« 4d' were unsupported by adequate receipts, the endorsed cheques only having been produced in evidence of payment •' (2) Loans and Advances Ledger Accounts, other than those for workers' dwellings and agricultural loans show onlv the amounts of interest received and not the interest receivable. Exception : The Audit Office is unable to certifv wholly to the disbursements during the year, as in many instances insufficient evidence as to the nature of the payments and as to the Board's liability was submited at audit.—J. 11.
