Pursuant to section 22 of the Native Purposes Act, 1935, I herewith transmit the report of the Court upon the above petition. In view of the desire of the petitioner to withdraw his petition, I recommend that no further action thereon be taken. R. N. Jones, Chief Judge. The Native Land Act, 1931, and its Amendments. In the Native Land Court of New Zealand, Waiariki District. In the matter of the Te Koutu B Block and of Petition No. 56 of 1935, by Potikai leni Tapihana, referred to the Court for inquiry and report pursuant to the provisions of section 22 of the Native Purposes Act, 1935.' At a sitting of the Court held at Rotorua on the sth day of March, 1937, before Harold Carr, Esquire, Judge. The Court begs to report that the petitioner leni Tapihana appeared in person and stated that he did not wish to prosecute his petition, and asked that no further action be taken in connection therewith.
