ORDERS OF REFERENCE. Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Friday, the 6th Day of September, 1935. Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills and other matters relating to mining which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Bodkm, Mr. Holyoake, Mr. Linklater, Mr. McSkimming, Mr. O'Brien, Mr. Parry, Mr. Reid, Mr. Samuel, Mr. Webb, and the Mover."—(Hon. Mr. Macmillan.) Tuesday, the 10th Day of September, 1935. Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1934-35 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during 1 the said session." —(Right Hon. Mr. Forbes.) Wednesday, the 2nd Day of October, 1935. Ordered, " That the Mining Amendment Bill be referred to the Goldfields and Mines Committee." —(Hon. Mr. Macmillan.) Tuesday, the Bth Day of October, 1935. Ordered, " That the Coal-mines Amendment Bill be referred to the Goldfields and Mines Committee."— (Hon. Mr. Macmillan.) Thursday, the 17th Day of October, 1935. Ordered, " That the Goldfields and Mines Committee have leave to sit during the present sitting of the House."—(Mr. Bodkin.)
