A slight but fairly constant superiority in weight for height and age is noted when comparing returns for country children with those for children in urban areas. The Maori Group is relatively a small one (1,188) and, therefore, the return for " E " may not be strictly comparable with that of other groups. The following tables of weights for height and age are also published. Such discrepancies as appear may be considered to be due to an unduly small number of children in that particular group : —
