I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 7th December, 1932.
No. 12.— Petition of Peter Fitzherbert Toomey, of Eaetihi. Praying for restoration of pension, and compensation. _ I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration, and the Committee recommends that the matter be referred back to the Pensions Appeal Board calling for a full report on the general, nervous, and physical condition of the petitioner, and whether any defects discovered are attributable to his war service. 7th December, 1932.
No. 253.—Petition of Hannah Powell, of Wellington. Praying for an annuity in respect of her late husband's services during the Great War I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that the petition be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. 22nd February, 1933.

Praying for reinstatement of war pension. _ _ I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration, and the Committee desires to express its opinion that the reinstatement of the pension as from the Ist March, 1933, should be given effect to. 6th March, 1933.
