Extract from the Journals of the House of Representatives. Wednesday, the 12th Day of October, 1932. Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of ten members, to consider all Bills and other matters relating to mining which may be Referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Bodkin, Mr. Black, Mr. Hawke, Mr. H. E. Holland, Mr. Jones, Mr. Linklater, Mr. McSkimming, Mr. Reid, Mr. Samuel, and the mover."—(Hon. Mr. Maomillan. ) Thursday, the 13th Day of October, 1932. Ordered, " That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1931 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session, and that all petitions received during the firstsession of 1932 be dealt with as if they had been received this session."—(Right Hon. Mr. Forbes.) Wednesday, the 2nd Day of November, 1932. Ordered, " That the report of the Goldiields and Mines Committee on the petition of W. C. E. George and others be referred back to the Committee for further consideration."—(Mr. Savase.) Friday, KhS 1 Ith Day of November, 1932. Ordered, " That the name of Mr. Parry be added to the list of members comprising the Goldfields and Mines Committee vice Mr. Black (deceased)." —(Hon. Mr. Macmillan.) Wednesday, the 16th Day of November, 1932. Ordered, " That the petition of T. McGrory be referred direct to the Goldfields and Mines Committee."— (Mr. Langstone.)
